Owlie is our plastic owl.  Owlie is supposed to scare away all nasty critters.  However, it appears that the heron hold no fear for plastic owls,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It’s hard to take good pictures while you’re chasing a bird.

 

The heron decided he didn’t like my interrupting his fishing, not one bit.

 

It became apparent he thought this was just a territorial fight between herons.

 

He would look in the windows to find me.  It wasn’t clear if he wanted me to come out and fight like a heron or just go away.
